Hide and Seek. Bed bugs hide during the day in mattress seams, box springs, baseboards, curtains, behind switch plates, in picture frames, cracks in the wall and even behind wallpaper. My favourite picture is the female bed bug in the screw hole of a bed frame where she has reproduced and laid her eggs. Look really closely to the right side of the picture. You will see the eggs glowing a bluish colour and just behind is mama with her reddish brown exoskeleton.

Not quite invisible. It is a myth that bed bugs are invisible. They are small but small but can be seen with the naked eye. To see the eggs and nymphs, a magnifying glass will help. Young bed bugs are about the size of a poppy seed and mature ones are about the size of an apple seed.

Twice, a pest control company sprayed and we kept getting bitten. After one heat treatment, we found lots of dead bed bugs. They even fell out of the curtains. The heat treatment really works. Best of all, I didn't have to leave during treatment.
